A Letter To Santa

Sometimes I'm sure my kids are planning something, even if I have no idea what. Here is the letter Anthony wrote to Santa this year...

A Letter To Santa

Dear Santa/St.Nicholas,

I have been good a majority of the time.
I have been paying attention (most of of the time) and never talk back.

Here is a list of things I want for Christmas:

Zelda twilight princess
Mario for the Wii
Gamecube controller for the Wii
Purple and red modeling clay (bakable)
Purple and red modeling clay (reusable)
Wooden planks and cubes
Paints (tempra, arcylic, and oil paints)
Wire
For it to snow
A long dowel (any material)
Aluminum foil
Alum
Pencils
A shovel
Anything else you think I would like.

Wow! That's almost identical to my 10yr old boy's wish-list. In his case the modelling clay is to make "cracking" animations using a still digital camera inspired by the Aardman book, which I can highly recommed: http://www.amazon.com/Creating-3-D-Animation-Aardman-Filmmaking/dp/0810949717

Ah hah!

You are right. Anthony wanted the wire for putting in the middle of clay figures. He is at it right now, making wire-skeletoned clay people.

I don't think he had stop-motion video in mind, but perhaps I'll get the tripod out and we'll try an experiment.
