Wartime Advertisements

Sometimes the most revealing parts of the newspaper are the ads.

Byron Horton, an intern for Amideast who is stuck in Beirut, posted this snapshot from a newpaper in Lebanon today...

Why would they have an ad written in English, but everything else written in what I presume is Arabic?

Is it because its talking about explosions in a foreign country as such they are a commonplace?

So... They're trying to scare dumb foreigners into buying their product because the local populous isn't stupid enough to buy it?
